LoadRunner scripting can be difficult, and project delays can be expensive. Perhaps one of these scenarios applies to you…
- Your team has already spent days trying to get a script to work and needs someone to remove a roadblock for them
- Your team would like an example script to work from, but can do the rest of the scripting themselves
- You would prefer to outsource your script development and just focus on running the tests and analysing the results
- Your team needs to write a one-off Business Process Monitoring (BPM) script for an application being monitored using HP BSM; and it makes no sense to learn the specialist technical skills required for an infrequent task like VuGen scripting
Maybe I can help you. I have worked with LoadRunner for more than 10 years, and have seen most of the problems that performance testers encounter. I am one of the top LoadRunner experts in the world; I speak at conferences, have regular contact with HP product management and R&D, and share my knowledge on this blog with more than 10,000 people every month.
My LoadRunner script development service produces high-quality scripts and aims for rapid turn-around. I charge a fixed price per script (not per hour) and complete all work myself.
Request for Quotation
If you would like pricing information for LoadRunner script development, please complete this form:
What happens next?
After you have submitted the Request for Quotation form, I will generate a quote and send you an electronic invoice. If you accept the proposed costs and the terms of the agreement, you may complete payment using the link in the invoice. Payments can be made with a company credit card using PayPal.
You will need to record the steps of your business process using VuGen, then zip the script and email it to me. You will get the best outcome if you also send me a Word document containing screenshots of each step of the business process along with the input data used for the script (usernames, product numbers, etc.).
Using your VuGen recording, I will develop the script to a “best practice” standard. I will email you the completed script. Please note that the application to be scripted must be stable. If the application has changed since the script was recorded, then the completed script might not replay successfully.
When you have run the completed script against your application, please let me know that everything is working. If there are problems, it will be easiest for me to debug them if you can provide supervised remote access to your desktop PC using TeamViewer.
Payment must be completed before work can begin on your LoadRunner script. An electronic invoice will be emailed to you containing a payment link. Payments must be made using PayPal.
You do not need to have a PayPal account to make a payment. A standard credit card (Visa, MasterCard, etc.) can be used on the payment form. Credit cards are processed directly by PayPal – your credit card details are not visible to me.
If I am unable to complete your script successfully, I will issue a refund.
Remote access with TeamViewer
If there is something that I must look at on your computer (i.e. if you have problems with script replay), then you can provide supervised access using TeamViewer. I can connect to you desktop during business hours in your timezone.
TeamViewer is a secure remote access program. To give me access, you send me a one-time access ID and password and specify whether I am able to control your mouse or just view your desktop.
TeamViewer does not require any special ports to be opened in the firewall. If you can access the Internet from your desktop PC, then you can share your desktop using TeamViewer. Using the TeamViewer client does not require Admin rights on the local PC.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you located? What is your timezone?
I live in Melbourne, Australia. The Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) timezone is GMT+10. I check email regularly when I am not sleeping.
Can I pay you after you have finished the script?
Sorry, no. You must complete payment before I can start work on your script. If you have multiple scripts, then you can pay for each script individually if you like.
Do you offer free consulting? Will you take a quick look at my script?
Sorry, no. I cannot afford to work for free. If you have a technical problem, or want to learn more about performance testing, there is lots of great content on my website. I sometimes also answer questions in various online forums.
Will you help me write my Performance Test Plan, run my tests for me, analyse my test results, tell me why my application is slow, or write my Performance Test Summary Report?
Sorry, no. This is a LoadRunner script development service. I can write scripts quickly, with minimal communication required. Other tasks require excessive meetings, email conversations and an in-depth understanding of project-specific background information. Unfortunately I don’t have time for non-scripting tasks.
Will you create a script using JMeter, SilkPerformer, QALoad, OpenSTA, Rational Performance Tester, NeoLoad, or any other tool that is not LoadRunner?
Sorry, no. I only develop scripts using HP LoadRunner (VuGen). I can develop scripts using LoadRunner much faster than with any other tool.
I work for an Australian company, why won’t you write LoadRunner scripts for me?
Sorry, I don’t do work for companies in Australia via this website. If you work for an Australian company and really must have access to my expertise, then I can refer you to JDS Australia. I am the Performance Testing Practice Lead for JDS Australia and my time will be charged at a premium rate.
If you have a question about my services that I haven’t answered, feel free to ask me using the RFQ form above.
